After enabling Superstars in Gmail Labs, you can use multiple stars (yellow, blue, red, and other symbols) to differentiate your emails. Then you can use the following syntax to filter emails starred with a specific symbol: has:yellow-star (or l:^ss_sy) has:blue-star (or l:^ss_sb) has:red-star (or l:^ss_sr) has:orange-star [...]]]></description>
